Happy September, Legalities!
We have officially wrapped up another successful summer residency at On the Rocks and we are happy to report that our last gig on that wonderful patio was the most attended of the summer. The place was standing room only, and we had the pleasure of having a bunch of very special guests join us on stage. We also had the pleasure of seeing our own blow hard, Saxy, passed out in the (thankfully empty) swimming pool. Check out our Facebook page for the photographs. It was truly epic.
We are taking a brief Labor Day vacation to start out the month, but that does not mean you cant get your daily BL fix. Good job! Wasnt that easy? Ok, now that you have got the new singles on your iTunes, lets move on. The coming month is busy with lots of great gigs. We are pleased to be returning to the Marlin Bar in Huntington Beach on September 7th. Our last gig down there was a great success, and we cant wait to return for another Orange County show. The OC folks always show us a good time, and we hope to book some more stuff down there soon.
We are playing a two-night stand this year at the Lomita Fair. Anyone who was there with us last year remembers how big of a party it was. This year we are playing in the beer garden on Saturday September 11th, then we will be on the main stage on Sunday September 12th. We are pleased to announce that special guest Steve Aguilar will be joining us on organ for the Sunday show. So come join us at the fair for a ton of fun and music, and watch as Jason Carver once again tries (and fails) to conquer his arch nemesis, the Mega Loop.
